Jumbo dumplings draw huge sales in JB

JOHOR BARU: Jumbo dumplings, bigger than a person’s palm and weighing a whopping half a kilogram each, are taking centrestage at a shop here for the upcoming Duan Wu Jie or Dumpling Festival.

The jumbo dumplings, priced at RM8.50 each, consist of double the usual dumpling ingredients like glutinous rice, marinated pork, a whole salted duck egg, chestnuts and mushrooms.
