KOTA KINABALU: The high-profile statutory rape case involving restaurant manager Riduan Masmud (pic), who married his 13-year-old accuser, will proceed after all on July 1.

Session Court judge Ummu Kalthom Abd Samad set aside four days for hearing the case that caught national attention when moves were made to drop the case against Riduan, who took the Form One student as his second wife.
