KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Abdul Wahid Omar and P. Waytha Moorthy have been sworn in as senators before Dewan Negara president Tan Sri Abu Zahar Ujang.
Abdul Wahid, the former Maybank president and chief executive officer and Waytha Moorthy, who was the Hindraf co-founder, will soon begin their “new jobs” as Minister and Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department respectively.
