Umno delegates to decide if top two posts should be contested, says Hishammuddin

PUTRAJAYA: Delegates attending Umno's much-anticipated General Assembly later this year would be the best people to decide whether or not the top two posts should be contested, said Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein.

He pointed out that the whole point of amending the party constitution, which has allowed for a much larger grassroot representation at the assembly was to make the party more transparent and inclusive for its members.
