KUALA LUMPUR: The Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (Ideas) has called for a stop to the secondment of civil servants to the Election Commission (EC).
“Members of the EC should be recruited transparently from among experts in the field,” said its chief executive Wan Saiful Wan Jan.
