KUCHING: In the wake of the Belaga express boat tragedy in Rajang River, the State Infrastructure and Communications Ministry will convene a meeting with express boat associations, police and the relevant authorities.
Its minister Datuk Seri Michael Manyin said the meeting, among others, would discuss steps to be taken to ensure laws and regulations on riverine boat operations and passenger safety were adhered to.
