JOHOR BARU: An ardent football fan is in a coma after he fell about 15m while trying to retrieve his club flag from a pole on the upper stands in the Larkin Stadium here at the end of a match.

Factory worker Roshdi Rosiman, 29, was trying to retrieve the flag he had earlier hung in support of Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) during a match against Pahang on Saturday night when he could have accidentally been pushed by other supporters in their haste to leave the stadium.
