KOTA KINABALU: The presence of a large migrant population in Sabah poses a certain security threat to the state and its people, police chief Datuk Hamza Taib told the Royal Commission of Inquiry.
He said the Feb 9 Tanduo intrusion in Lahad Datu was a clear example of the security risks involved with the presence of such a large group of migrants as the intruders received support from them.
