IPOH: With the re-opening of the new RM42mil refurbished Sultan Azlan Shah Airport here, the city is now hoping for direct flights from Xiamen in southeast China.
Datuk Bandar Datuk Roshidi Hashim said officials at Xiamen Airlines had indicated interest in flying to Ipoh during his trip there last year with the then Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen.
