KUALA LUMPUR: Former Internal Security Act detainee Yazid Sufaat and two others arrested under the new Special Offences (Security Measures) Act (Sosma) for promoting acts of terrorism in Syria have been freed by a High Court here.
Justice Kamardin Hashim acquitted and discharged Yazid, his friend Halimah Hussein and cafeteria helper Muhammad Hilmi Hasim after allowing an application from the three to strike out the charge.
