GEORGE TOWN: Former Teratai state assemblyman Jenice Lee has been expelled from the DAP for failing to withdraw from contesting as an independent candidate within the 24-hour grace period given to her on Sunday.
DAP national chairman Karpal Singh said incumbent Kota Melaka MP Sim Tong Him was also slated for expulsion but the decision was changed after Sim withdrew as an independent candidate for the Kota Laksamana state seat.
