KUALA LUMPUR: In a move to encourage Malaysian authors to produce quality works, the Government has allocated RM2mil for Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP) to carry out five initiatives to achieve the objective.
Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said these included giving RM10,000 to each authors' association for their language and literary development programmes.
