KUALA LUMPUR: Anyone who spreads rumours or misinformation on the general election over the Internet will be subject to legal action, the police have warned.
Inspector-General of Police secretariat (public relations) assistant head Asst Comm Ramli Mohamed Yoosuf said such irresponsible actions would only cause confusion and unrest among the public.
