Heavy traffic in Kuala Lumpur as flash floods hit several major roads


PETALING JAYA: A thunderstorm yesterday caused flash floods in several major roads in the city, including Jalan Tun Razak, Jalan Parlimen, Jalan Duta, Jalan Pudu, Jalan Cheras Lama, Jalan Chan Sow Lin and Jalan Segambut.

A spokesman from the Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department operations room said the floods led to major traffic congestion as it occurred at around 5.30pm when people were leaving work for home.
