Factory worker jailed 12 years for robbing bank officer


KUALA LUMPUR: A factory worker has been sentenced to 12 years in jail and ordered to be whipped six times for his part in the gang robbery of a bank officer in 2007.

Sessions Court judge Azwarnida Affandi passed the sentence on Che Nor Firdaus Che Lah, 26, after ruling that the defence had failed to raise reasonable doubt.
