GE13: Ex-army chief to take on Shahrir, says Anwar


JOHOR BARU: The battle of the Tan Sri's for Johor Baru is on with PKR's former army chief Tan Sri Md Hashim Hussin taking on incumbent MP Tan Sri Shahrir Samad from Barisan Nasional.

Announcing the candidate for the parliamentary seat here on Tuesday, PKR leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the party would also be fielding Johor PKR director of elections Steven Choong in Tebrau and Nor Hizwan Ahmad in Muar.
