Motorist crushed to death by falling construction equipment at LRT extension site in Subang


SUBANG JAYA: A motorist was killed and another seriously injured Friday evening when construction equipment hoisted by a crane at an LRT extension site near Subang Airport fell and crushed two cars.

Subang Jaya Fire and Rescue Department operations commandant Hazinan Md Yusof said they received the distress call at 7.40pm and rushed to the scene to find that one person in a Nissan vehicle, identified as A. Vijaya Sigam, 34, had already died from the force of the impact, which crushed the roof of his vehicle.
