KUALA LUMPUR: Christians gathered to observe Maundy Thursday, the fifth day of the Holy Week, which precedes Good Friday.
The highlight of the ceremony in churches on Thursday was the washing of the feet, a re-enaction of Jesus Christ washing the feet of the 12 apostles during The Last Supper, which was his last meal before his crucifixion and death on Good Friday.
