GE13: Pahang PKR backs down from demand to contest two state seats

KUANTAN: Pahang PKR has backed down from its earlier demand to contest two traditional state seats belonging to its ally DAP for the coming general election, saying that they are now leaving the matter in the hands of Pakatan Rakyat leadership.

State PKR chief Datuk Fauzi Abdul Rahman said the earlier announcement on PKR contesting Tanah Rata and Ketari state seats was part of a seat swapping exercise after it had agreed to give up the Bentong parliamentary seat to DAP.
