BACHOK: A former PAS official had to divorce his wife due to an oath of allegiance he took when he joined the party.
Shaidi Husin (pic), 45, a former Kelantan PAS deputy security chief said those initiated into the party are required to uphold the bai'ah, a pact with the party to discourage them from betraying it, such as hopping to another party and divulging party secrets.
