LAHAD DATU: Two policemen were shot and injured during a shootout with gunmen at Kampung Sri Jaya, Simunul in Semporna last night.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar said the shooting happened while a team of policemen was checking on premises at the village at about 7.30pm.
