Nudge, nudge, but there’s a limit in politics

MANY women may not know it but there is an image of a housefly on the “sweet spot” in some public urinals that men use. This offers males target practice, which lessens spillage.

The painted fly is an example of “nudging” people to make right decisions. This term of art comes from the 2008 bestseller, Nudge, by University of Chicago economist Richard Thaler and Harvard law professor Cass Sunstein.
