JOHOR BARU: The Home Ministry will use the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 on anyone found to have ties with militants, warned Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein.
He added that ex-ISA detainee Yazid Sufaat, his acquaintance Halimah Hussein, and his assistant Mohd Hilmi Hasim had all been detained under the new act after they were found to have ties with a militant group.
