KUALA LUMPUR: A policeman was awarded nearly RM1mil in damages by the High Court for unlawful detention and restriction after the court granted his suit against a detention centre and four others.
Judicial Commissioner Lee Heng Cheong made the ruling on Friday, in chambers.
