A GROUP of eight people had dinner in a restaurant, ran up a RM1,000 bill and left without paying, Kwong Wah Yit Poh reported.
The group, believed to be from a family and including two children, a pregnant woman and two senior citizens, had ordered eight dishes in the restaurant in Butterworth on Jan 19.
