Tampoi temple gets RM500,000 from Johor Government

JOHOR BARU: The Johor Govern­­-ment has allocated RM500,000 to the Sri Muniswarar temple in Tampoi here in the spirit of Thaipusam.

Mentri Besar Datuk Abdul Ghani Othman said the money was a contribution to the temple’s fund to build a RM2.2mil multi-purpose hall that could be used by the Indian community.
