MALACCA: After three years of languishing in a cell with illegal immigrants, a 65-year-old classical dancer will travel to Batu Caves to pay homage to Lord Muruga as a legitimate Malaysian citizen.
R. Murugan (pic) was finally accorded the status after some work undertaken by a Kuala Lumpur-based social worker T. Kamalanathan to have the bachelor declared a native of the country.
