Court allows single mothers' suit against state govt over allowance


SHAH ALAM: A High Court here has dismissed the Selangor state government's application to strike out a RM10.9 mil suit filed by a group of single mothers.

The group filed the suit against the state government and its Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim last year alleging that the defendants failed to fulfil their election manifesto regarding allowances for single mothers.
