Cops: Drug peddler offered RM50,000 bribe for his release


IPOH: A drug peddler caught with 2.29kg of heroin offered a RM50,000 bribe in “instalments” to policemen for his release.

Perak deputy police chief SAC Datuk A. Paramasivam said the 24-year-old was caught near an eatery along Jalan Medan Ipoh 1A at Medan Bistari here last Wednesday at about 3pm.
