JOHOR BARU: A boat carrying 49 illegals capsized off Teluk Ramunia in Pengerang, near Kota Tinggi here, early Monday, after being swept by strong winds and currents.
Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) and Marine Police personnel managed to rescue 35 men, four women and two children in a search-and-rescue effort that got underway around 5.20am.
