SUNGAI PETANI: More than 80,000 people joined MCA in the last four years, against 985 who left in the same period.
Party president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek said the people had not given up on MCA despite its poor performance at the last general election, when it won only 46 Parliamentary and state seats. In the 2004 polls, MCA had won 107 seats.
