TV3 report based on Nizar’s tweet, court told

KUALA LUMPUR: The TV3 report on former Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin’s statement regarding the RM520,000 bid by the Sultan of Johor on the WWW1 vehicle registration number on May 30 last year was lifted from a tweet by Nizar.

Media Prima Berhad deputy group managing editor of TV and Radio Networks Datuk Mohd Ashraf Abdullah, 45, testified in the High Court here that the report carried in TV3’s Buletin Utama slot was consistent with other online reports that day.
