GEORGE TOWN: A contractor appointed by the Penang Municipal Council (MPPP) has begun pruning trees along a 700m stretch of Jalan Masjid Negeri to prepare them for transplanting.
A check by The Star showed some workers pruning the trees on Thursday before work begins on a road widening project along the stretch.
