AG Gani Patail: Timely to keep up with election laws


PUTRAJAYA: It is timely for the Attorney-General's Chambers to update itself on the salient changes pertaining to the general election laws and procedures, AG Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail said.

In his speech at the opening of the 2013 Legal Year here, he said that the changes aimed to ensure the forthcoming election would be conducted in a transparent and fair manner, reflecting some of the recommendations by the Special Select Committee on electoral reform.
