JASIN: The world was to end on Dec 21 last year, according to the 46-year-old leader of a deviant sect now under police detention.
Malacca police chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Chuah Ghee Lye said when the world did not end, some of the sect's followers became disillusioned and left.
