GEORGE TOWN: Shah Alam MP Khalid Abdul Samad has reached a settlement with blogger Dr Novandri Hasan Basri over a defamation suit filed against the latter over a year ago.
The settlement, which was agreed upon before Justice Varghese George Varughese in chambers, included an unreserved apology by Dr Novandri for a blog posting entitled Penjarakan Khalid Bishop Samad (Jail Khalid Bishop Samad) published on http://novandri.blogspot.com on Jan 15, 2010.
