GEORGE TOWN: The police will call up suspects and relevant witnesses to give their statements regarding the case where a journalist covering a suspected suicide was allegedly beaten up.
George Town OCPD Asst Comm Gan Kong Meng said police obtained an order from the deputy public prosecutor’s office to investigate the case classified under Section 323 of the Penal Code as voluntarily causing hurt.
