KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court here has granted a student activist's appeal for a stay of his sentence after spending a weekend in Kajang Prison.
Justice Amelia Tee Hong Geok Abdullah granted Umar Mohammad Azmi, 23, a stay of execution pending an appeal and released him on bail.
