BENTONG: A Dapsy division chairman did not turn up for a symbolic ceremony to behead cockerels, so the birds were given out to villagers instead.
Over 100 villagers flocked to a Chinese temple here at about 1pm yesterday to witness the ceremony. However, Bentong Dapsy chairman Chow Yu Hui chickened out.
