Postmen get five-day week at work from Jan 1


KUALA LUMPUR: Some 8,500 postmen nationwide will enjoy a five-working-day week from Jan 1 compared to six presently.

Information, Communications and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said the postmen are part of 16,500 employees of Pos Malaysia Berhad (Pos Malaysia) who deserved to enjoy new working hours.
