SINGAPORE: A 27-year-old male Singaporean driver was referred to the Agri-food & Veterinary Authority (AVA) here for further investigations after 21 puppies were found hidden in the spare tyre compartment of his vehicle.
In a statement, the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) said on Tuesday at about 11.45am, a Singapore-registered car pulled into the Woodlands Checkpoint for arrival clearance.
