OVER 17 million doses of immunisation vaccine were given to children from 2010 to 2011 with only minimal cases of side effects detected by the National Bureau of Pharmaceutical Control.
Deputy Health Minister Datuk Rosnah Abdul Rashid Shirlin said that based on monitoring by the bureau, the number of serious cases of side effects due to vaccination was negligible.
