ABOUT 200 Indian youths in Kampung India village in Bendut, near Lumut, placed coconut trunks along the road on Deepavali day to protest against the presence of large lorries in the area.
Lumut MIC division publicity chief S. Thinakaran said the lorries used the road to transfer sand and granite from the nearby quarry to construction sites.
