Assembly venue: The 58th PAS Muktamar at Putik in Kota Baru will be attended by 1,100 delegates.
KOTA BARU: Nurul Izzah Anwar, who caused a nationwide outcry over her freedom of religion remarks, has been invited to attend the 58th PAS Muktamar here. However, the PKR vice-president may not be there.
“What I understand is that Nurul Izzah will not be attending the assembly although we have invited top leaders of our party's partners,” assembly technical committee deputy director Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan said at Pusat Tarbiyah Islamiyah Kelantan (Putik) yesterday. “To date, there is no confirmation from her.”
