SHAH ALAM: A deputy public prosecutor in the murder trial of cosmetics millionaire Datuk Sosilawati Lawiya and her three aides told one of the suspects he is smart and did well in his SPM examination but poverty stopped him from continuing his studies.
Responding to DPP Idham Abd Ghani in the High Court here, second accused T. Thilaiyalagan, 21, said he worked part-time at a workshop instead of going to college because of financial constraints.
