KOTA KINABALU: Last Thursday's runway blackout at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) is a valuable lesson for all, said BIMP-EAGA Malaysia Business Council chairman Datuk Roselan Johar Mohamed.
Without pointing fingers at anyone, he said he hoped this incident would not recur as “Sabah is aiming and bracing to become the air transportation hub for the Brunei Darussalam-Indonesia-Malaysia-the Philippines-East Asean Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA)”.
