Nine claim trial over stolen Samsung smartphones


SEPANG: Two men claimed trial in a Sessions Court here on Tuesday to stealing Samsung smartphones worth more than RM2.2mil from the MAS Kargo storage area in KLIA, while seven others claimed trial to possession and disposal of the phones.

M. Visanthakumar, 22, and S. Sanjay, 32, were charged with the theft of 1,407 units of Samsung Galaxy Note II smartphones belonging to KGL Sdn Bhd at Gate 37 of the storage area at around 12.30pm on Oct 20.
