ACTRESS Nabila Huda Suhaimi is defending her fashion choice after the gown she wore during the Anugerah Blokbuster 2011 was deemed “too sexy”.

Nabila, affectionately called Abil, told Kosmo! that her black gown, designed by Alia Bastamam, was fashionable.

“I am a person who loves to experiment with fashion,” she said, adding that she was comfortable showcasing the dress.

“Unfortunately, it became an issue with some people who were uncomfortable with it,” she said of the gown which exposed her chest and stomach and had a slit up to her thighs.

She apologised to those who thought her appearance was “too sexy”.

“I took into consideration sensitivities and covered my stomach and chest by wearing a black tube when I appeared with Zahiril Adzim to give out the trophies,” she said.

> A 13-year-old boy was assaulted and forced to strip while the whole scene was recorded by a senior student at a secondary school in Gurun, reported Harian Metro.

“What was even more disappointing was that the February incident was only exposed when the student's phone was confiscated by the school warden on Sept 30,” said the boy's father.

He said he was disappointed with the boarding school's inaction over the incident, adding that he only got to know about the incident when his wife was informed by a teacher on Oct 1.

The incident was believed to have taken place in a toilet when the boy was clad in a towel.

He was then forced by the Form Five student to undress.

“My wife met the student and asked him why he did it.

“The student asked us not to lodge a police report and wait until he sits for the SPM exams,” he said.

However, the father lodged a report at the Sik police station last Thursday.

“I went to the Sungai Petani district education office to meet the officer-in-charge but was not entertained,” he claimed, adding that he was worried the clip would be posted online.

Meanwhile, Kedah Education Department director Mansor Latt said he was not informed of the incident and would investigate the matter.

“I have to wait for the report but the student can sit for the SPM exams pending investigations,” he said.
