ROMPIN: Pahang MCA will not budge from contesting the Tanah Rata state seat, although it is currently held by a Gerakan assemblyman.
State MCA chief Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said the seat in Cameron Highlands had always been reserved for the party, although it had ended up in Gerakan's hands after the 2008 general election.
