PETALING JAYA: The decision to put off the transfer of Petaling Jaya mayor Datuk Mohamad Roslan Sakiman to a later date was made after consultation with Selangor State Secretary Datuk Mohamed Khusrin Munawi, said Chief Secretary to the Government Datuk Seri Ali Hamsa.
He said Mohamad Roslan's transfer to the Selangor government as the deputy state secretary (development), which was to have been effective last Monday, was a routine exercise involving government officers and should not have been made an issue.
